Our Emergency Shelter helps women and their children escape from the hand of domestic violence. Our other services concentrate on assisting sexual assault victims and providing abuse prevention classes for children of all ages in our schools. Kids' Advocacy Place coordinates the forensic interviews for criminal investigations with law enforcement and child protective investigators. They also help with crisis interventions with victim families and make referrals to treatment resources in child abuse cases. We serve Kerr, Kendall, Gillespie, Kimble, Bandera, and in some cases, even surrounding counties.
Pledges are very important to our program. If it's possible for you, consider a monthly, quarterly, or yearly cash donation. Go to the GIVING button on our Home Page, or email or call Suzanne at firstname.lastname@example.org or 830-257-7088 Ext. 25.
Our volunteer program is essential to our overall mission. There are many ways in which you can support our projects. We encourage our volunteers to get involved in areas that are meaningful to them. Our resale store, ReRuns, provides funds that help us cut the staggering costs of our many services. Volunteering at ReRuns would really be appreciated. There are several ways to help us at ReRuns -- and all support is appreciated beyond measure. Even our "Winter Visitors" provide valuable support.
